He was born in Mexico City and grew up submerged in the Plastic Arts world. He holds a Bachelor’s degree as an Industrial Designer by the Universidad Ibero Americana (UIA) and a Master’s degree by the Domus Academy in Milan.


His work surpasses the mere design of utilitarian objects by approaching erotic, religious and political topics in a subtle and gentle way with a distinctive humorous touch, nonetheless giving his productions an equally sharp and profound result.


Andrés is actually considered as an absolute Pop Surrealism representative and his work has been exhibited in forums such as the Milan Furniture Fair at the Satellite Hall, at Messe Frankfurt Loft 4.1, at the Franz Mayer Museum in Mexico City (Import Export and Silla Mexicana), at the Centro Banamex Palacio de Iturbide Museum in Mexico City (Vida y Diseño México), at the Erotic Art Hall in Puebla, both in Washington, D.C. and the State of Sonora with Rethinking Tradition: Contemporary Design in Mexico and at the Modern Art Museum in Mexico City as part of the Fábrica Mexicana exhibition.


His work has been published in books and magazines such as Sex Design, Young Designers Americas, Diseño México Arquine, Toys for Boys, Love Design and Vida y Diseño México.
